I realized today, as i was walking across the office that I do what I do because it's who I truly am.
I am feeling under the weather, and feel incredibly anti-social. Someone said "Hello" and asked me "How are you feeling".
I pause, think a moment, then i respond.
"I'm Doing a little better, thank you kindly for asking".
My first impulse however was to grunt, moan and shrug, in an attempt to communicate 'LEAVE ME ALONE I DON'T FEEL GOOD!!!" but i realize that would be rude.
We do what we do because it is who we are~
A leader is a leader even when they are not holding a leadership position
A teacher is a teacher, even if they have no students
A criminal is a criminal, even if they are not currently acting out
A terrorist is a terrorist even without the threat
A loved one is a loved one despite their disposition
